What your day will look like

We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Developer with strong expertise in React, C#, Microsoft SQL Server, and Azure services to join our growing team. You will play a key role in designing, building, and deploying high-quality applications, with opportunities to take ownership of features and provide technical guidance within the team.

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-quality applications using React and the modern JavaScript/TypeScript ecosystem.

Build and evolve robust back-end services and APIs using C#, ASP.NET Core, and SQL Server.

Deploy, monitor, and optimize applications in Azure using services such as App Services, Azure Functions, Azure SQL, and messaging/event-driven services including Event Grid, Event Hubs, and Service Bus.

Contribute to the design and implementation of event-driven architectures that support scalability, resilience, and real-time responsiveness.

Take a lead role on selected features or technical areas, helping to shape implementation approaches and standards.

Contribute to data migration activities from legacy systems, including supporting data analysis, transformation, validation, and cutover planning where required.

Collaborate closely with product owners, QA engineers, and other developers in an Agile environment to deliver reliable, well-engineered solutions.

Troubleshoot complex issues, implement fixes, and proactively improve application performance, reliability, and maintainability.

Share knowledge, promote best practices, and contribute ideas for continuous improvement across the team.

What you need to fulfill the role

Requirements:

6+ years of professional experience as a Full Stack Developer, or equivalent practical expertise.

Strong proficiency in React and the modern JavaScript/TypeScript ecosystem.

Solid, hands-on experience with C#, ASP.NET Core, and Microsoft SQL Server.

Proven experience deploying and operating cloud applications in Azure; exposure to Event Grid, Event Hubs, or Service Bus is advantageous.

Familiarity with data migration concepts and experience supporting or contributing to migrations from legacy applications.

Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines for automated builds and deployments.

Comfortable working in an Agile environment, with the ability to adapt to evolving requirements and priorities.

Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with a proactive, collaborative mindset and some experience influencing technical direction.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.

Azure or Microsoft certifications (beneficial but not required).

Experience optimising applications for performance, scalability, and reliability.

Understanding of scalable architectures, including event-driven and cloud-native designs.

Prior experience mentoring or supporting other developers in a team setting.
