Senior Full Stack Developer

Overview

Kronos Marketing Ltd. is seeking a talented and experienced Senior Full Stack Developer based in Malaysia to join our team. You\'ll work on a variety of projects for our international clients, contributing to both new and existing products. We are looking for someone who is a quick learner, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and can work both independently and collaboratively. You will be responsible for developing user-facing features and stunning visual elements using the latest web technologies.

Salary range: 8,500 - 12,000 MYR

Requirements

• Proven track record in building modern, well-engineered, and scalable web applications with clean architecture and maintainable code.
• Strong experience developing large-scale single-page applications integrated with REST APIs.
• Experience with PHP, Laravel, and modern stacks such as Inertia.js and Laravel Livewire.
• Deep expertise with Vue 3, including Vue Router, Vuex, and Pinia for state management.
• Strong working knowledge of frontend build tools such as Vite and Webpack.
• Hands-on experience with Tailwind CSS for building responsive interfaces.
• Proficiency with Git and Git-based workflows (branching, pull requests, CI/CD).
• Understanding of security best practices in applications (XSS prevention, CSRF handling etc).
• Experience with unit and integration testing for backend - PHPUnit, Pest, and frontend - Jest, Vitest, Cypress.
• Experience with client and server-side performance optimization.
• Familiarity with internationalization (i18n) and accessibility.
• Strong self-development mindset with the ability to stay up-to-date with rapidly evolving backend and frontend technologies.
• Excellent English communication skills (written and spoken).
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent hands-on experience).
• Must hold a Malaysian citizenship.

Experience required

• Building large-scale web applications using Vue 3 for the frontend and PHP with Laravel for the backend.
• Holding a senior software development role, providing technical direction and mentoring team members.
• Working in agile teams, applying principles and practices from the Scrum framework and lean development.

Responsibilities

• Translate end-user requirements into detailed specifications and solution designs for diverse application development.
• Conduct thorough quality assurance and peer code reviews to ensure high standards in product features.
• Provide reports and documentation on the project stage and progress.
• Determine and analyze various processes and implement changes for improvement.
