Role Summary: NearSource is looking for a Senior Full-Stack Developer specializing in Node.js and React to join our global engineering team. In this role, you will design and deliver secure, scalable web applications, collaborating with software engineers, QA, and designers to drive enterprise‑grade solutions for global clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, test, and maintain high‑quality, secure, and stable code for enterprise‑grade applications.
• Lead and participate in design and code reviews to ensure scalability and best practices.
• Develop estimates, evaluate risks, and identify dependencies to support project planning.
• Collaborate with a distributed engineering team across Toronto and global locations to deliver high‑impact solutions.

Must‑Have Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related engineering discipline, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of professional experience as a Software Developer or Full‑Stack Engineer.
• Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript with strong client‑side web development expertise.
• Hands‑on experience with React and Redux frameworks for building scalable UI applications.
• Experience developing server‑side applications using Node.js and the NPM ecosystem.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Proficiency with Git and GitHub for source control and collaboration.
• Strong programming, debugging, and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail.

Nice‑to‑Have Skills

• Familiarity with microservices architecture and scalable backend design.
• Exposure to containerization technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) for deployments.
• Understanding of distributed systems and performance optimization.
