What You’ll Do
- Design, develop, and optimize CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) solutions on the Salesforce platform.
- Develop Apex classes, triggers, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and declarative automation to enhance CPQ functionality.
- Integrate Salesforce CPQ with external billing, subscription, and contract management systems.
- Build and maintain scalable APIs and microservices using Node.js, deploying on AWS Lambda, ECS, or API Gateway.
- Develop modern, interactive React‑based UIs for CPQ and lifecycle management.
- Optimize system performance, security, and data synchronization across Salesforce and external services via event‑driven architectures.
- Leverage strong expertise in Quote‑to‑Cash (QTC) processes, including product configuration, pricing strategies, discounting, approvals, and contract lifecycle.
- Oversee design, scoping, implementation, and testing of new features end‑to‑end.
- Drive technical excellence and best engineering practices, including design reviews, continuous integration, and code reviews.
- Provide architecture and technical guidance for the software development team.
- Stay current with relevant technologies and apply them to Nue’s SaaS applications as appropriate.
- Define standards and guidelines for application development, and deliver world‑class, high‑quality design and code using agile methodologies.
What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 5–7 years of professional software development experience.
- Strong portfolio or examples of past projects and code.
- 3+ years of experience with the Salesforce platform.
- 5+ years of software development, design, and implementation experience in the finance, billing, and/or subscription software industry.
- 5+ years of experience with application performance profiling and tuning.
- Proficiency in Java, Node.js, and databases.
- Preferred experience with AWS.
- Strong knowledge of React, JavaScript, and its frameworks.
- Enthusiasm for programming, coding, and staying up to date with emerging technologies.
- Problem‑solving skills and an eagerness to learn and adapt.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
- Passion for working in a fast‑paced, startup‑like environment.
