Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer (MEAN Stack)

We’re SRED.io - a fast-moving startup, building an AI-based platform that helps companies in Canada to get the funding they need for their innovative tech & science projects.

We’re looking for a MEAN Full Stack Developer who loves turning ideas into clean, high-performing code. If you thrive in an environment where you can ship fast and own your work, this is the role for you.

Responsibilities

  • Build and ship features end-to-end using MongoDB, Express, Angular, and Node
  • Create smooth, responsive UIs and efficient REST APIs
  • Optimize performance across the stack
  • Collaborate closely with product, design, and QA
  • Improve code quality, tooling, and overall developer experience

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience working as a full stack developer (experience with a small, scaling team is a plus!)
  • At minimum, a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science
  • Solid JavaScript/TypeScript and MEAN stack experience
  • Strong Angular (v10+) and Node/Express fundamentals
  • Comfortable designing MongoDB schemas and queries
  • Git, CI/CD, and Agile experience
  • Startup-friendly mindset: quick, adaptable, and hands-on
