The Role
We’re looking for a Senior Functional Analyst, Calypso – Back Office to join our team, reporting to Sr. Manager Client Support Services. In this role, you’ll help shape how we support and evolve our post‑trade and back‑office capabilities for derivatives, ensuring our clients operate with accuracy, confidence, and compliance.
You’ll fit right in if you’re analytical, collaborative, and proactive, enjoy digging into complex functional issues, and love working across teams, partners, and time zones to create smooth experiences for our customers.
What You’ll Do
• Provide expert support to clients on Calypso Back Office product issues through the ticketing system, ensuring communication is always clear and concise.
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve customer issues by providing functional guidance or partnering with internal technical teams to address product defects.
• Collaborate with external and internal partners to resolve issues related to Exchange‑Traded Derivatives and regulatory reporting.
• Maintain subject‑matter expertise across one or more asset classes and stay up to date with market and industry trends.
• Mentor new team members and contribute to special projects that help improve our product and client experience.
What You’ll Bring
• Strong understanding of Exchange‑Traded Derivatives, regulatory reporting (CFTC or Exchange), and Initial/Variation Margin calculation for futures and options.
• Experience analyzing and resolving functional issues within Calypso or similar post‑trade/back‑office systems.
• Ability to collaborate across teams, influence decisions, and communicate complex information in a clear, client‑friendly way.
• A problem‑solving mindset with the ability to assess issues, provide solutions, and work closely with technical teams when needed.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent relevant experience.
Nice to Have
• Knowledge of trade capture, valuation, trade workflows, settlements, or collateral management.
• Experience working in capital markets, fintech, or regulated environments.
• Familiarity with global teams and cross‑time‑zone collaboration.
This position will be located in Mexico City and offers the opportunity for a hybrid work environment at least 3 days a week in-office, subject to change, providing flexibility and accessibility for qualified candidates.
