The Senior Fund Accountant plays an important role in supporting the service delivery of the Unit Pricing Team. It encompasses review of unit prices for several superannuation funds, covering for team members when they are away on leave, assisting with audit requests and participation in ad-hoc fund accounting tasks. Job specification Review of daily/weekly unit prices for several superannuation funds Entering Dividends and Trades in Acurity Updating Bloomberg and Indices spreadsheet with prices daily Covering for staff when they are on leave Process improvements and projects for the team Prepare performance reports for external stakeholders Build and maintain effective relationships with the Administration team, Custodian, Trustee office, Asset consultants and Superfund office Review of the daily and weekly unit prices within SLAs and according to unit pricing policies To perform duties and responsibilities with minimal errors and within the required timeframes Ensure the delivery of performance reports to the stakeholders All reports generated to be of a standard consistent with policies and meet legislative requirements Ad-hoc unit pricing/fund accounting tasks Skills Required: Bachelor Degree in Business, Finance or Accounting CPA (preferred but not necessary) 2+ years in unit pricing as a pricing analyst, NAV specialist or fund accountant Practical knowledge in unit pricing and performance analysis for Superannuation funds Sound understanding of investment markets and the broader finance industry Advanced Excel Skills Preferred knowledge and experience in Audit for Superannuation/investments Client delivery and service experience What you will get in return: A genuinely unique opportunity to be part of an expanding large global business; Competitive remuneration commensurate with skills and experience; Training and development opportunities Additional information: We are an equal opportunity employer and ensure that no applicant is subject to less favourable treatment on the grounds of gender, gender identity, marital status, race, colour, nationality, ethnicity, age, sexual orientation, socio-economic, responsibilities for dependants, physical or mental disability.
