Senior GCP Apigee Engineer (Contract)

We re recruiting an experienced Senior GCP Apigee Engineer for a long-term contract role, supporting large-scale cloud and API platforms in a complex enterprise environment.

This is a hands-on engineering role focused on API management, Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and modern DevOps practices, working as part of a cross-functional cloud platform team.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build and manage APIs using Google Apigee (Apigee X / Hybrid)
• Develop and deploy API proxies, policies and configurations
• Implement CI/CD pipelines for API lifecycle management (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Harness)
• Build automation and tooling using Python
• Apply API security standards including OAuth, JWT, mTLS, rate limiting and threat protection
• Automate infrastructure and deployments using Terraform / IaC
