Senior Geotechnical Engineer

The Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join our engineering back-office team and support the delivery of major infrastructure and urban development projects. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise in geotechnical investigations and foundation engineering, with proven experience contributing to multidisciplinary consultancy deliverables for large-scale infrastructure programs. This role requires strong analytical skills, engineering judgment, and the ability to deliver high-quality technical outputs across project stages.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering (Master’s Degree is an advantage).
• Minimum 10+ years of professional experience in geotechnical engineering and infrastructure design.
• Strong background in ground investigations, soil characterization, foundation design, and geotechnical reporting.
• Proven experience working on large infrastructure and urban development projects.
• Consultancy or multidisciplinary engineering environment experience preferred.
• Familiarity with geotechnical analysis tools and design software (e.g., PLAXIS, GeoStudio, LPILE, AutoCAD, or equivalent).
• Strong understanding of design standards, technical documentation, and infrastructure coordination requirements.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and technical reporting skills.
• Availability to join immediately or within a short notice period.

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to all geotechnical engineering deliverables across infrastructure project stages.
• Develop and review geotechnical assessments, design recommendations, calculations, and technical reports.
• Support foundation design, earthworks planning, and geotechnical risk evaluations for infrastructure developments.
• Coordinate effectively with structural, utilities, hydrology, and multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Participate in design reviews, quality assurance checks, and technical problem-solving activities.
• Ensure geotechnical solutions are integrated with wider infrastructure and urban development requirements.
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and project teams.
