About the Role

StormGeo is at the forefront of delivering cutting-edge weather and ocean intelligence solutions. We are building a next-generation
high-performance geospatial mapping system
to visualize and interact with complex data efficiently. We are looking for a skilled
Senior GIS & Mapping System Engineer
to develop this solution and ensure seamless integration, scalability, and performance.

The location for this position will be Bergen or Oslo, Norway.

As part of our team, you will:

• Develop scalable mapping systems that deliver high-performance vector, raster and data tiles, geojson etc.).
• Design and implement systems capable of handling complex geospatial point and gridded data, including 3D oceanic and atmospheric levels.
• Integrate ensemble forecast data, effectively handling four-dimensional geospatial visualization.
