Role Summary
We are looking for a Senior Growth Marketer to drive profitable growth for our clients' eCommerce business. This role is heavily performance-focused and requires an expert-level skillset in Google Ads, including product feed optimisation and Shopping/Performance Max management. The successful candidate will be able to maximise sales while keeping CPC efficient and ROAS strong.
Meta (Facebook/Instagram) experience is also important, ideally at a high level, and the ability to create or direct ad creatives is a big advantage. Experience with Klaviyo email marketing is a strong plus, as we already have our flows in place and want to improve performance and revenue contribution from email.
We would also like support with maintaining a consistent organic presence, including posting on Facebook/Instagram
Key Responsibilities
Google Ads (Primary Focus)
- Own and manage the full Google Ads strategy to maximise profitable sales growth
- Expert management of Shopping, Performance Max, Search, and remarketing campaigns
- Improve efficiency and scalability through continuous optimisation of bidding, budget allocation, structure, and audiences
- Maintain efficient CPCs and drive consistent ROAS/CPA performance
- Strong focus on product-level performance and scaling best-selling categories profitably
- Conduct ongoing keyword and search term analysis to improve traffic quality and reduce waste
- Build and maintain a structured testing plan across campaign types, asset groups, and messaging
Product Feed Optimisation (Critical Requirement)
- Optimise product feeds to improve visibility, CTR, conversion rate and ROAS
- Manage and improve product titles, descriptions, attributes, categorisation, pricing and imagery to maximise performance
- Identify and resolve Merchant Center issues quickly (disapprovals, mismatches, policy warnings, missing attributes, etc.)
- Use feed segmentation and product grouping to ensure budget flows to the right products
- Implement best practices to improve ranking and competitiveness in Shopping results
Meta Ads
- Plan and manage Meta campaigns across Facebook and Instagram
- Create and optimise prospecting and retargeting structures
- Improve performance through audience testing, creative testing, and clear attribution tracking
- Align Meta activity with Google Ads to ensure efficient multi-channel performance
Creative Production (Ideal)
- Produce or manage high-performing ad creatives for Meta (static, carousel, and short-form video)
- Create direct-response style creatives with strong hooks, product benefits, and clear offers
- Understand what creative formats and messaging drive conversions in eCommerce
Organic Social (Facebook/Instagram) (Ideal)
- Support consistent organic posting on Facebook/Instagram (product highlights, new arrivals, promotions, showroom content, social proof)
- Maintain a clean brand presence and improve engagement where possible
- Suggest content themes and a simple posting schedule that is realistic to maintain
Email Marketing Klaviyo (Ideal)
- Improve and optimise existing Klaviyo flows (abandoned cart, browse abandon, post-purchase, winback, etc.)
- Plan and execute campaigns to increase revenue per subscriber and repeat purchases
- Segment audiences intelligently and test subject lines, offers, and timing
- Monitor performance and continuously improve email contribution to overall sales
Conversion Rate Optimisation (CRO) and Website Improvements (Ideal)
- Monitor conversion rate trends and identify opportunities to increase on-site conversion rate
- Observe user journeys and flag any obvious blockers or friction points that may be preventing maximum sales potential
- Recommend and prioritise practical CRO improvements (quick wins and higher-impact changes)
Tracking, Reporting & Continuous Improvement
- Ensure clean and accurate tracking across Google Ads, GA4 and Meta
- Deliver clear weekly/monthly reporting on revenue, ROAS, CPA, conversion rate and key trends
- Identify what is working, what isn’t, and what needs changed, with clear action plans
- Recommend and prioritise CRO improvements that remove blockers and increase conversion rates
- Provide insights into new product/category opportunities from a paid media perspective
Required Experience and Skillset
- Expert-level Google Ads experience with strong eCommerce results (Shopping + Performance Max is essential)
- Proven ability to scale profitable sales while maintaining efficient CPC and healthy ROAS
- Strong experience with Google Merchant Center and feed optimisation (non-negotiable)
- Strong analytical skills and ability to make decisions based on performance data
- Comfortable managing budgets and scaling spend responsibly
Desirable Skills
- High-level Meta Ads experience, including retargeting and scaling
- Ability to produce ad creatives (design/video/creative testing)
- Klaviyo email marketing experience (flows, campaigns, segmentation, testing)
- Shopify experience and understanding of typical eCommerce performance levers
- Experience working in a fast-moving, owner-led business where performance matters
