Senior HR Manager
Job Profile:
We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented HR Head who possesses a strong understanding of statutory compliance along with proven expertise in end-to-end recruitment. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring that the organisation remains fully compliant with all labour laws while also attracting and hiring the best talent to support business growth.
Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
· Develop and implement recruitment strategies aligned with business needs.
· Manpower planning in coordination with department heads
· Manage end-to-end recruitment cycle (sourcing, interviewing, selection, onboarding)
· Maintain recruitment vendors, consultants, and job portals
· Monitor recruitment costs and optimize hiring processes
Payroll & Salary Administration
· Oversee accurate and timely payroll processing for all categories of employees
· Ensure correct salary structures as per applicable labour laws and company policy
· Review attendance, leave, overtime, incentives, deductions, and reimbursements
· Ensure confidentiality and accuracy of payroll data
Statutory & Labour Law Compliance
· Ensure 100% compliance with all applicable labour laws as per statutory requirements.
· Ensure all statutory registers and returns are up-to-date and audit-ready.
· Respond to inspection notices, handle legal queries, and represent the company before labour authorities when needed.
· Liaise with government authorities during audits, inspections, and compliance reviews.
· Keep management updated on labour law amendments and changes in compliance regulations.
Employee Relations & HR Operations
· Frame and update HR policies, SOPs, and manuals
· Handle employee grievances and disciplinary matters
· Drive performance management and appraisal processes
· Ensure smooth onboarding and exit formalities
· Maintain HR MIS, records, and reports for management
Key Skills & Competencies
· Education: Graduate/Postgraduate in HR, Business Administration, or related field; MBA/PGDM in HR preferred.
· Experience: 15+ years of experience in HR with core exposure to compliance and recruitment.
· Skills:
Strong knowledge of Indian labour laws and statutory compliance processes.
Proficient in talent acquisition strategies and tools.
Hands-on experience with HRMS and payroll systems.
Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and documentation skills.
Ability to multitask, prioritise, and meet tight deadlines.
Job Location: Chandigarh
Salary Range: 60,000/- to 1,00,000/- Per Month.
