● Provide strong HRBP support and advice to all functions within the Indian/APAC region: Engineering, Product, G&A, and R&D management team
● Assist with the development, implementation, and coordination of HR policies and programs across India. (This role is not about running the plays from your standard corporate handbook – you’ll need to think outside of the box here)
● Strategic player in building and growing our culture and operations in the Indian market, along with being a solid team player who can build relationships with multiple stakeholders
● Keeping up to date with extensive local market knowledge and practice to provide counsel and guidance to management on employee relations issues, conducting comprehensive employee relations investigations and consulting management to resolve issues; ensuring ongoing compliance with company policies and all local employment laws
● Elevate our employees and managers through coaching, training, and career development programs to provide them with the necessary skills to grow
● Participate in the development and implementation of employee retention, succession, and workforce plans
● Monitor and utilize People metrics to measure performance and make sure we’re on the right track

● 8 plus years of demonstrable experience as a human resources professional in a fast-paced and dynamic environment (experience working in a similar tech environment is a plus)
● Ability to maintain focus and keep a strong eye on the details in a sometimes ambiguous and rapidly changing environment
● You are passionate about igniting culture. You are creative and are not afraid to bring unconventional bold ideas to the table
● Independent self-starter with mental toughness and the ability to effectively work collaboratively across disciplines
● Strong integrity, approachability, heart, and a deep willingness to understand our business
● Excellent communication and presentation skills with strong proficiency in English
● Excellent knowledge of Indian employment laws and regulations
● Excellent project and program management skills with a proven ability to drive scalable global People Programs● Experience preferred working with compensation tools such as AON/Radford
● Strong consulting, coaching, and facilitation skills
● Experience with HCM systems and the Google software suite preferred (BambooHR experience a plus)
● Exceptional professionalism and ability to uphold a high level of confidentiality
