Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering

  • Licensed/Registered Electriccal Engineer

  • 3-5+ years experience in utility-scale solar development or renewable energy consultancy.

  • Hands-on experience in substation and transmission line design and lay-outs.

  • Development of Single-Line Diagrams (SLD),Key Diagrams, and Three-Line Diagrams.

  • Knowledge of primary equipment (transformers, circuit breakers, GIS switchgear) and secondary systems (protection and control).

  • Knowledge of tower/pole loading and clearances (though often shared with Civil Engineers)

  • Deep understanding of the rules and regulations governing the connection and operation of the grid.
