Role Overview
The HVAC Design Engineer will be responsible for designing HVAC systems, preparing estimates and BOQs, and handling procurement of HVAC equipment and materials. The role ensures that all projects are technically compliant, cost-effective, and delivered on time.
Key Responsibilities
1. Design & Engineering
Prepare HVAC system designs including heat load calculations, equipment selection, and layouts.
Design ducting, piping, and air distribution systems. Prepare HVAC drawings, schematics, and equipment schedules.
Ensure compliance with ASHRAE, ISHRAE, NBC and project specifications.
2. Estimation & Costing
Prepare detailed BOQs covering equipment, ducting, piping, insulation, valves, grills, electricals, and controls.
Generate project cost estimates for tenders and quotations.
Support the sales and business development team with technical and pricing inputs.
