Senior HV/MV Electrical Engineer

The Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior HV/MV Electrical Engineer to join our engineering back-office team and support the delivery of major infrastructure and urban development projects. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in high- and medium-voltage power systems, with proven experience delivering electrical designs for large-scale infrastructure programs, including substations, distribution networks, and utility corridor developments. This role requires strong technical capability, multidisciplinary coordination skills, and the ability to contribute to high-quality consultancy deliverables across project stages.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (Master’s Degree is an advantage).
• Minimum 10+ years of professional experience in HV/MV electrical infrastructure design.
• Strong background in power distribution networks, substations, protection systems, and grounding design.
• Proven experience working on large infrastructure and urban development projects.
• Consultancy or multidisciplinary engineering environment experience preferred.
• Proficiency in relevant software such as AutoCAD, ETAP, DigSILENT, or other electrical design tools.
• Strong understanding of international design standards and technical documentation requirements.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and technical reporting skills.
• Availability to join immediately or within a short notice period.

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to all HV/MV electrical engineering deliverables across infrastructure project stages.
• Develop and review electrical drawings, calculations, specifications, and technical reports.
• Support the design of substations, HV/MV distribution networks, and associated utility infrastructure systems.
• Coordinate effectively with utilities, controls, instrumentation, and multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Participate in design reviews, quality assurance checks, and technical problem-solving activities.
• Ensure proper integration of power systems with other infrastructure components.
• Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and CAD teams.
