Project Description:
- As a Senior IBM MQ SME, you will be the primary authority for the architecture, configuration, and management of our messaging middleware across both on-premise infrastructure and AWS Cloud environments. You will work closely with our Infra and AWS Cloud teams to ensure high availability, seamless integration, and robust security for our enterprise messaging backbone.
Responsibilities:
1. Administration & Configuration
- Design and build complex IBM MQ architectures (Uniform Clusters, -Queue Manager Clusters, and Multi-instance Queue Managers).
- Perform end-to-end configuration, including Queue Managers, Channels, Listeners, and Queues.
- Manage security protocols such as SSL/TLS certificate management, Cipher Specs, and OAM (Object Authority Manager).
2. AWS Cloud Integration
- Deploy and manage IBM MQ on AWS EC2.
- Optimize MQ performance for cloud-native applications, ensuring low latency and high throughput.
