    Job Description

  • Work closely with internal and external customers, understand the known and unknown needs of the customer, and create product briefs that are aligned to customer needs, brand positioning and market positioning
  • Establish UI/UX integration guidelines between physical products, mobile apps, and ecosystem interfaces
  • Drive end-to-end industrial design for high-end smart devices (, control panels, sensors, hubs, lighting, and audio systems)
  • Develop high-fidelity prototypes (CAD, renders, functional models) to validate form, ergonomics, and usability. This will involve field visits for physical prototype validation
  • Collaborate with mechanical engineers on DFM (Design for Manufacturing), material selection, and tooling optimisation

    • The Successful Applicant

    A successful Industrial Designer should have:

  • 5-10 years hands-on experience in Industrial Design and Product Development
  • Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks, Rhino, or similar tools
  • Deep knowledge of materials (metals, glass, composites), finishes, and high-volume manufacturing (injection moulding, CNC, die-casting)
  • Expertise in CMF (Color, Material, Finish) strategy for premium products
  • Strong design thinking methodology and user research acumen
