Job Title: IT Senior Business Consultant – Manufacturing Execution System

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced IT Senior Business Consultant to support our MES Plant data collection - Operations. This role involves IT service management, troubleshooting MES PDC & Core services, and ensuring seamless integration with factory processes. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, a proactive mindset, and experience managing complex operational challenges within a manufacturing execution system (MES) environment.

Minimum Experience: 8 or more years of experience in the field of MES and Digital Manufacturing.

Preferred Qualification: Candidates with a bachelor’s/master’s degree in IT, Engineering, or a related field, along with additional Experiences in MES, Digital Manufacturing. certifications or experiences in Devops will be given preference.

Responsibilities:

• Manage IT service operations, including incident handling, critical incidents, and change management.
• Conduct root cause analysis and drive effective problem management.
• Provide expert troubleshooting for Vb.net & .net core-based applications .
• Resolve issues related to microservices in Kubernetes environments.
• Proactively monitor MES Core services using Kibana & Grafana.
• Collaborate with testing teams to resolve issues in testing and development environments.
• Handle change requests efficiently within the Plant Data Collection clients.
• Provide support to factory teams and end-users, ensuring seamless issue resolution.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement processes to enhance operational efficiency, integration, and standardization.
• Guide and support the Operations Team in their activities.

Skillset:

• Strong technical background with a degree in IT, Engineering, or a relevant field.
• Extensive experience in Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and discrete production processes.
• Familiarity with MES Platform Core domain services, including SAP Order, Production Info, Labelling, and Factory Processes.
• Proficiency in DevOps and monitoring tools such as Elastic, Logstash, and Kibana.
• Good knowledge in troubleshooting .Net-based MES applications.
• Good understanding of RESTful APIs.
• Experience in agile methodologies (Scrum, SAFe) and project management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Self-organized with an agile mindset and excellent communication skills.
• Proven experience in intercultural collaboration.
• Fluency in English is required.
