ABOUT THE ROLE & TEAM:

As a Senior Infrastructure engineer, you will be working on the creation, automation, integration and maintenance of infrastructure to support core products using various technologies including Azure Cloud, On prem Servers, Desktop, Embedded platforms. In this role, youll play a key part in designing, building, and maintaining prem and cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines, while driving operational excellence and automation across our development and deployment lifecycle.

Reporting to Senior Management, you will be a member of the Platform Enablement Team, which is responsible for delivering the next generation products in passenger portfolio for SITAs international customers.

WHAT YOULL DO:

  • Standardize System Level Architecture for Cloud and On Prem solutions.
  • Design, implement and manage scalable, secure and highly available Azure cloud infrastructure.
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar.
  • Ensure compliance with enterprise security and governance.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using tools like Terraform, ARM Templates, or Bicep.
  • In depth understanding of Azure solutions, including major services related to Compute, Storage, Network and Security.
  • Implement best practices around infrastructure as code, security and cost optimization in Azure
  • Collaborate closely with developers and Ops to streamline deployment and operations.
  • Provide feedback to management regarding the requirements for the software (and related technology) being considered for integration.
  • Create detailed documentation for each integration. (Documentation includes details such as: Installation, customization, backup, and troubleshooting information)
  • Ability to work well, both independently (self-management) and as a member of the global team.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize performance across infrastructure and applications.

    ABOUT YOUR SKILLS

  • 10+ years of either development or DevOps experience
  • Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience working in DevOps
  • Bachelors degree in computer science, Telecommunications, Information Systems, Engineering or equivalent technical discipline related to job description
  • Demonstrable experience of supporting engineering teams productize solution
  • Demonstrable knowledge of Azure Portal, Azure Resource Manager, Azure CLI and tools
  • Demonstrable knowledge of Azure services including monitoring, backup, site recovery, and more
  • Demonstrable understanding and use of Power Shell, Bash, YAML, Terraform
  • Strong communications skills (verbal and written)
  • Strong use and familiarization Ado Boards
  • Relevant Azure certification is an added advantage
  • Rudimentary Network Knowledge
  • Knowledge of Ansible and Python is an added advantage
