Responsibilities


  • Providing the most advanced IT infrastructure solutions based on industry standards and using the latest tools and methods.
    Using proof-of-concept approaches to enthuse participants with your solution ideas.
    Troubleshooting and performance optimization of RedHat-based systems to ensure high availability and performance.
    Implementing and managing security measures specifically for RedHat Linux environments.
    Passion for technology and the DevOps idea to drive automation ideas within a development team and contribute to the vision of “Continuous Everything”.
    Being a member of an agile SCRUM team that supports products from requirements through development to integration into production.
  • Qualifications

  • Completed studies (or equivalent training) with a technical background
    Experience in managing experts and projects, such as “Statement of Work” negotiations, project initiation, customer management, project execution, and implementation
    Consulting experience with the ability to propose and implement competitive and innovative technical solutions
    Extensive technical experience in implementing IT infrastructure, especially in system integration with Linux distributions (such as RedHat, SuSE Linux) and in the RedHat ecosystem (including RedHat Satellite, IDM
    Knowledge of IaC Configuration Management (e.g., with Puppet, Ansible, Kubernetes, Chef, and Terraform)
    Background in Linux/Unix administration and familiarity with CI/CD toolchains like Jenkins, Maven, ANT, Grunt, GIT, Nexus
    Experience in operating IaaS-, PaaS-, CaaS-, and SaaS-based landscapes based on AWS or AZURE product portfolios
    Experience with container technology, system deployment, and infrastructure configuration scripting
    Experience with monitoring tools and up-to-date operating frameworks (NewRelic, ELK, Splunk, Graylog, etc.)
    Familiarity with frameworks for software development and test automation
    Open-minded, customer-oriented, and enjoy working in an international environment
    Result-oriented problem-solving with the ability to work well under pressure
    Ability to develop technical documentation for applications and system
    Ability to communicate in both German and English
    Certifications such as Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) or Red Hat Certified Architect (RHCA) are an asset but not mandatory
    In-depth knowledge of RedHat OpenShift and RedHat Ansible Automation Platform is an asset
