Senior Instrumentation & Controls Engineer

Wood is recruiting for a Senior Instrumentation & Controls Engineer to join our Minerals & Metals business, focusing on instrument & controls packages within mining & mineral processing projects. This is a 6‑month contract with possibility for extension based in our Perth CBD office.

Responsibilities

• Production and/or review of engineering deliverables including models, drawings, calculations, specifications, reports, evaluations etc.
• Setting resources forecast/budget for engineering and drafting and recommend engagement of additional resources as required.
• Technical and commercial direction to engineers in relation to design quality, design schedules and design budgets.
• Act as the key link between the project team and the engineering discipline group.
• Provision of mentoring role to graduate engineers or discipline engineers where applicable.
