Tasks and Responsibilities
Lead the design, implementation, and operation of middleware solutions for event streaming and API management
Drive the adoption of an event-driven architecture across critical enterprise systems
Design and build a new Apache Kafka platform from the ground up
Ensure platform scalability, performance, monitoring, and operational stability
Develop and maintain integrations using IBM webMethods and Java where required
Collaborate with ICT teams and business stakeholders to deliver reliable integration solutions
Provide on-call support for platform operations and maintenance
Must-Have Criteria
Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or equivalent qualification
5+ years of hands-on experience in event streaming and API management
Strong practical experience with Apache Kafka (mandatory)
Proven experience building and operating highly available, high-performance platforms
