One of our clients is looking to engage a global team of consultants to help with the development and maintenance of Salesforce. This team is made up of a small group of technologists whose responsibilities include leading the development and maintenance of approximately 13 Salesforce applications that support various Tax Teams of the client, including the Portfolio Management Team.

We are a consulting firm and are looking for consultants based in: São Paulo, Brazil; Mexico City; and San José, Costa Rica. In Brazil and Costa Rica, consultants will be hired as independent contractors in a B2B model. The Technology Development Support team will consist of 4‑6 consultants globally in the following roles: Senior Enterprise Application Developer, Senior Integration Specialist, Enterprise Application Developer, and QA/Functional Test Specialist.

What you will work on

We’re looking for a Senior Integration Specialist to design, build, and maintain enterprise‑grade system integrations and data pipelines supporting tax, finance, and accounting platforms.

This role is ideal for a senior technologist who enjoys solving complex integration challenges, working across multiple systems, and ensuring reliable, secure, and scalable data flows in a cloud‑based environment.

You’ll play a key role in connecting platforms, enabling enterprise data visibility, and supporting solutions used by 2,000+ users.

What You’ll Do

  • Design and implement system integrations between enterprise platforms
  • Build and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes
  • Develop and consume APIs and web services
  • Implement event‑driven and pub/sub integration patterns
  • Enhance and support existing integrations and cloud services
  • Debug and resolve complex integration and data flow issues
  • Optimize integration performance, reliability, and monitoring
  • Document implementations and support handoff to QA and operations

What you will bring

  • Core Experience (Required)
  • 6+ years of experience in enterprise application and integration development
  • Strong hands‑on experience with Salesforce:
    • Apex, Triggers, Batch Apex
    • Platform APIs and data manipulation
  • Proven experience building enterprise integrations and data pipelines
  • Strong knowledge of REST/SOAP APIs, event‑driven architectures, and messaging patterns
  • Experience with cloud services and serverless architectures (AWS)
  • Ability to troubleshoot and debug distributed systems
  • Additional Experience (Nice to Have)
  • Experience with integration platforms (MuleSoft, Informatica, Dell Boomi, or similar)
  • Exposure to other enterprise platforms (Dynamics 365, Zoho, etc.)
  • Familiarity with API gateways, microservices, and cloud‑native patterns
  • Experience working with high‑volume data and complex transformations

Education & Certifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Salesforce Developer Certification (Level 1) – required
  • Advanced Salesforce, Integration Architect, or Cloud certifications – preferred
  • English language Proficient level (Speaking, listening and writing)
