Senior Internal Auditor

In this role, you will drive meaningful impact by supporting
SOX (Business & IT) compliance
, leading
operational audit initiatives
, and contributing to
enterprise-wide improvement projects
. You'll partner directly with leadership, gain visibility across multiple business units, and work in a team that encourages open communication and innovation.

What You'll Do

Lead and execute SOX compliance activities (annual scoping, walkthroughs, testing, documentation updates).

Assess design & operating effectiveness of internal controls and support process owners in remediation efforts.

Prepare audit programs, workpapers, walkthroughs, and execute testing for operational, financial, and IT projects.

Provide clear, practical, and sustainable recommendations to improve processes and controls.

Draft audit reports and validate findings with stakeholders.

Support the creation of the annual audit plan and periodic reporting for senior leadership.

Collaborate on enterprise risk management and cross-functional initiatives that elevate operational efficiency.

What We're Looking For

• 4+ years of Internal Audit or Public Accounting experience.
• Strong command of English (written & verbal).
• Solid knowledge of auditing standards and internal control frameworks.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
• Proficiency in Excel, Access, or data analytics tools.
• CIA certification
  is a plus.
• Experience in oil & gas
  is preferred.
