**Sr IT Digital Workplace Engineer:**
**This role is Office Based, Pune/Hyderabad, India Office**
Cornerstone OnDemand is looking for a
Senior AI Engineer who will lead the design and development of AI-powered
solutions using Microsoft Azure AI services, Copilot, and Generative AI
technologies. You will be responsible for building intelligent automation
solutions, implementing AI models, and creating custom Gen AI applications that
enhance business processes and drive innovation across the organization.
**In this role you will...**
+ Lead the development of enterprise AI solutions using AzureOpenAI, Azure AI Studio, Azure Machine Learning, and Azure CognitiveServices.
+ Design and implement Microsoft Copilot solutions, includingCopilot for Microsoft 365, custom copilots using Copilot Studio, andplugin development.
+ Build advanced Gen AI applications using prompt engineering,RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) patterns, fine-tuning, andmulti-agent systems.
+ Develop intelligent workflows using Azure Agentic AI andSemantic Kernel to automate complex business processes.
+ Integrate AI capabilities with Microsoft 365, SharePoint,Teams, Power Platform, and third-party enterprise applications.
+ Implement Azure AI Document Intelligence solutions forautomated document processing and data extraction.
+ Build and optimize vector databases and semantic search usingAzure AI Search for knowledge management systems.
+ Establish MLOps practices using Azure Machine Learning andAzure DevOps for automated model deployment and monitoring.
+ Design and develop scalable APIs and microservices for AI modeldeployment and integration.
+ Create data pipelines to support AI model training andreal-time inference.
+ Define AI solution standards, best practices, and governanceframeworks including security and compliance.
+ Mentor AI engineers and developers, providing technicalguidance and code reviews.
+ Lead proof-of-concept projects to evaluate new AI technologiesand their business value.
+ Collaborate with architects, data scientists, and stakeholdersto define AI roadmaps and technical strategies.
+ Stay current with AI technologies and Azure AI service updatesto drive continuous improvement.
**You Have What It Takes If You Have...**
**Requirements:**
+ Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, SoftwareEngineering, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, orrelevant experience.
+ 5+ years of comprehensive software engineering experience withat least 3+ years focused on AI/ML architecture, development, anddeployment.
**Technical Expertise:**
+ Proven track record in architecting and implementingenterprise-scale AI solutions using Microsoft Azure AI services andGenerative AI technologies.
+ Expert-level experience with Azure OpenAI Service, Azure AIStudio, Azure Machine Learning, and Azure Cognitive Services in productionenvironments.
+ Deep expertise in Gen AI application development, includingadvanced prompt engineering, RAG architectures, fine-tuning strategies,and multi-agent orchestration.
+ Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Copilot ecosystem,including enterprise Copilot deployment, custom copilot development,plugin architecture, and extensibility frameworks.
+ Advanced proficiency in Python and/or C# with deep knowledge ofAI/ML frameworks.
+ Expert-level understanding of LLM architectures, embeddings,and vector search technologies.
+ Expertise in designing and implementing scalable APIarchitectures, microservices patterns, and event-driven systems for AIsolutions.
+ Deep understanding of Azure AI Search, vector databases (CosmosDB, Pinecone, Weaviate), and hybrid search optimization techniques.
+ Strong experience with data engineering, ETL pipelines, anddata governance practices for AI/ML workloads.
+ Expert-level knowledge of Microsoft Graph API, Power Platformintegration, and Microsoft 365 extensibility for AI solutions.
**Leadership & Business Acumen:**
+ Proven experience in translating complex business requirementsinto scalable AI solution architectures and implementation roadmaps.
+ Demonstrated success in client-facing and stakeholdermanagement roles, with ability to communicate AI concepts and ROI totechnical and non-technical audiences.
+ Strong understanding of business value realization through AI,including cost optimization, efficiency gains, and innovation metrics.

+ Strategic and innovative mindset with ability to identify AIopportunities and drive technical excellence across the organization.
+ Excellent communication skills to bridge technical and businessperspectives, including technical writing and presentation abilities.
