Senior IT Engineer (SolarWinds Platform)

Help AG is looking for a Senior IT Engineer (SolarWinds Platform) with robust experience in managing hybrid environments comprising Linux, Windows, virtualization, and backup systems. The role will be responsible for end-to-end infrastructure monitoring, server management, and supporting high-availability enterprise systems using tools like SolarWinds, Hyper-V, and Commvault.

Responsibilities

• Manage infrastructure visibility using SolarWinds to monitor performance, uptime, and capacity.

• Administer and support Linux servers, including automation through Bash/Python scripting.

• Manage Microsoft Windows Servers, Active Directory, and Group Policy.

• Administer Microsoft Hyper-V environments for virtualization and VM lifecycle.

• Manage Dell physical servers and enterprise storage systems.

• Operate and maintain Commvault for VM backup and restore procedures.
