The Role

Are you a passionate software engineer with 8+ years of experience? Do you enjoy building impactful solutions using the latest technologies? EG Healthcare is looking for a Senior Software Developer to join our growing team in Mangalore, India, and help shape the future of digital healthcare in Europe.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop robust, scalable software solutions using Java and related technologies
  • Build and maintain RESTful APIs for integration across systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact features
  • Ensure code quality through best practices, automated testing, and peer reviews
  • Work with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines for modern DevOps workflows
  • Troubleshoot issues and deliver timely solutions
  • Contribute to architectural decisions and technical improvements

    • Must-Have Skills

  • Java (8+ years of professional experience)
  • Spring Boot for backend service development
  • REST API design and implementation
  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
  • Exposure to Event Sourcing / CQRS patterns
  • Hands-on experience with any front-end technology – preferably React.js
  • Strong understanding of relational databases, Git, and testing practices

    • Good-to-Have Skills

  • ElasticSearch for advanced search and indexing
  • Axon Framework for distributed systems (Java)
  • Grafana or similar tools for observability
  • Experience with ArgoCD for GitOps-based deployments
  • Full-stack mindset or experience collaborating with front-end teams
