Requirements

A seasoned professional with deep technical expertise and a passion for driving excellence through continuous learning and mentorship. We are looking for a technical leader who can architect robust solutions, elevate team capabilities, and set the standard for efficient, maintainable, and secure software development.

• Experience with Java development in complex, high-scale environments
• Expert-level proficiency with multiple Java frameworks (Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Quarkus etc.) and ORM frameworks (Hibernate, JPA, MyBatis)
• Exceptional RDBMS skills including advanced schema design, performance optimization, query tuning, and managing large-scale data migrations in production systems
• Proven track record of designing and implementing scalable REST and/or SOAP APIs with proper versioning and documentation
• Deep understanding of concurrency, threading models, and performance optimization in Java applications
• Strong expertise in distributed computing principles, including consistency models, fault tolerance, and scalability patterns
• Demonstrated ability to architect clean, maintainable, and secure code while establishing coding standards and mentoring team members
• Extensive experience deploying, monitoring, and maintaining production systems at scale with focus on reliability and observability
• Track record of championing and implementing best practices in software engineering across teams

Extras We Love

• Production experience with NoSQL databases and polyglot persistence strategies
• Strong background in automated testing strategies (unit, integration, contract, performance) and building CI/CD pipelines
• Hands-on experience designing and implementing microservice architectures with service mesh patterns
• Proficiency with multiple JVM languages (Kotlin, Scala, Groovy) and ability to evaluate trade-offs
• Experience with infrastructure as code, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and cloud-native deployment patterns
• Solid understanding of frontend technologies and full-stack development considerations
• Experience with APM tools, distributed tracing, and production debugging
