Senior Java Software Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Java Software Engineer to contribute to the solution design and software development of Transurban's Customer, Billing and Collections platform. In this role, you will shape best-practice engineering approaches and ensure our platform continues to evolve with performance, reliability and scalability at its core. As a senior member of the engineering community, you'll also help foster a culture of innovation, continuous improvement and technical excellence.

Day-to-day

• Design and develop new features and enhancements across the Customer, Billing and Collections platform
• Conduct root cause analysis, resolve defects and drive performance improvements
• Define and operationalise Engineering Code Management within the Java Platform application domain
• Act as a key connector to ensure technical alignment across teams working in the same domain
