Requirements
3+ years of Jira administration/engineering (SaaS or on-prem). Proficient in scripting (Python, PowerShell, or JavaScript). Strong understanding of Agile (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) and DevSecOps principles. Hands-on experience integrating enterprise tools and optimizing workflows. Atlassian certifications (ACP-620, ACP-120, or equivalent). Experience with Confluence, Bitbucket, or other Atlassian tools. Familiarity with secure/federal environments (FedRAMP, FISMA, SOX).
Please Note:
- It is a 100% Onsite position.
- The Candidate must be willing to report to work onsite in Washington, D.C.
- Duration: 12-month engagement with possible extension
Job Description:
- Looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to lead the deployment, configuration, and integration of Jira SaaS in a secure government cloud environment.
- This role is ideal for someone passionate about Agile transformation, DevSecOps automation, and enterprise tool integration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer, configure, and optimize Jira SaaS for enterprise Agile delivery.
- Design and implement integrations with GitLab, ServiceNow, and other platforms using REST APIs, webhooks, and scripting.
- Lead the migration from Azure DevOps and GitLab to Jira SaaS.
- Collaborate with Agile and cybersecurity teams to enable automation, compliance, and robust reporting.
