This is a pivotal role for an accomplishedPrincipal / Lead Civil Engineerwho thrives on delivering large complex projects from concept through to completion.

The ideal candidate will bring extensive design expertise and a proven track record of leading the civil design for hyperscale data centre projects.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities: 

You willbe intheBengaluruoffice on a Hybrid working basis. The role involves the following:

  • Lead the civil engineering team in delivering the detailed civil engineering design of pavements, underground drainage and utilities, and earthworks.
  • Take ownership of developing impactful presentations and delivering clear, concise technical updates directly to clientsdaily. This client-facing role requires exceptional communication skills, ensuring stakeholdersremaininformed, engaged, and confident in project progress at every stage.
  • Proactively coordinate with project managers, technical leads, construction managementteamand contractors.
  • Manage thetimelydelivery of the civil engineering design to an excellent standard. 
  • Actively contribute to the ongoing growth and innovation of the Civil Engineering Department by challenging existing standards, driving best practices, and promoting energy-efficient, sustainable design solutions.

    • Qualifications

    You will have:

  • Degree in Civil Engineering. Masters would be an advantage.

    • (CharteredEngineer status,is addedatvantage)

  • Minimum 15years’ experience with at least 5 years’ experience in managing civil design teams delivering detailed designs of hyperscale missioncriticalprojects(compulsory requirement)oninternationalprojects with EPC firms.
  • Strong communicator with exceptional verbal and written skills, capable of producing clear, concise reports and engaging presentationsdirectly to Clients. 
  • Highly adaptable, able to respond effectively to evolving project requirements and dynamic environments.
  • Confident in creating and delivering engineering presentations to Clients
  • Thorough understanding of civil engineering design standards and construction practices across EMEA.
  • Experience as Lead to manage a team of Civil Engineers.
