Responsible To : Design and development of Access products like Doors and Door mechanism for India and Globe
Main Purpose
+ Lead the design and development of door systems for transit applications.
+ Manage the full product lifecycle including engineering change board activities, 3D modeling and drawing creation using Creo and Teamcenter.
+ Handle obsolescence management and spare parts planning for door and access products.
Responsibilities
+ Interpret existing designs and propose alternatives for obsolescence and spare part needs.
+ Apply GD&T and perform stack-up analysis.
+ Lead engineering change requests for product improvements.
+ Define weld specifications per BS EN 15085 and BS EN ISO 2553.
+ Design sheet metal and mechanical parts using Creo.
+ Generate and manage BOMs.
+ Conduct requirement analysis and develop technical specifications.
