About the Role
We a Senior Lead Generation & Growth Strategist to architect, build, and optimize a complete outbound revenue engine. This role is responsible for creating our lead generation system from the ground up: messaging, ICP targeting, outreach frameworks, CRM setup, pipeline structure, automation flows, and training of the appointment setter who will execute daily volume.
This is a strategic builder role — the person in this position will act as the architect behind our marketing and outbound sales process. The goal is to design a predictable system that reliably books qualified meetings with business owners in our target markets.
This is not a general VA role or task-runner position.
We are looking for a high-skill operator with proven experience scaling outbound lead generation for a B2B service business.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead Generation Architecture
- Build and document the complete outbound lead generation system.
- Develop targeting criteria, segmentation, and ICP definitions.
- Identify niches with the strongest demand for recruiting + leadership alignment services.
- Create repeatable workflows for daily outreach and follow-up.
2. Messaging & Offer Positioning
- Write high-conversion cold email sequences, LinkedIn message flows, and call scripts.
- Improve and sharpen the company's outbound messaging, brand voice, and persona.
- Test variations to optimize reply rate, positive responses, and booked meetings.
- Build objection-handling frameworks for the appointment setter.
3. Tools, Systems & Automation
- Select and configure lead generation tools (Sales Navigator, Apollo, Instantly, Lemlist, etc.).
- Build clean CRM structures (HubSpot, Monday, ClickUp, etc.).
- Set up tracking dashboards with KPIs tied to leads, replies, bookings, and show rates.
- Implement automations for follow-up, tagging, lead routing, and activity tracking.
4. Appointment Setter Enablement
- Train the setter VA on:
- Outreach scripts
- Persona-based messaging
- Follow-up cadence
- Qualification criteria
- Daily KPI expectations
- Review their performance weekly and refine campaigns.
5. Optimization & Strategy
- Analyze campaign performance and continuously refine outreach.
- Run A/B tests on subject lines, hooks, messaging angles, and target lists.
- Recommend offer enhancements based on response trends.
- Report insights and metrics directly to the founder.
6. Strategic Advisory
- Guide the founder on:
- Brand positioning
- Ideal outbound channels
- Content strategy for authority building
- Scaling the lead gen engine (ads, content, partnerships)
Required Experience
The ideal candidate has 5–10+ years in at least one of these fields:
- B2B lead generation
- Outbound sales systems
- Sales development (SDR management)
- Growth marketing
- Pipeline building for agencies or service firms
- Cold email/LinkedIn systems engineering
- Offer positioning and messaging strategy
Technical Requirements
- Expert-level LinkedIn Sales Navigator
- Strong experience with cold email platforms Apollo, Instantly, Lemlist)
- Ability to build and maintain CRM structures
- Data-driven mindset with strong analytics skills
- Comfortable with automation tools (Zapier, Pabbly, Make.com)
- Experience training and managing appointment setters or SDRs
