Senior Lighting Engineer

The Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Lighting Engineer to join our engineering back-office team and support the delivery of major infrastructure and urban development projects. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise in lighting systems design, with proven experience contributing to multidisciplinary consultancy deliverables for large-scale infrastructure programs, including public realm, roadway, and urban lighting networks. This role requires strong coordination skills and the ability to deliver high-quality lighting design outputs across project stages.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline (Master’s Degree is an advantage).
• Minimum 10+ years of professional experience in lighting design for infrastructure and urban development projects.
• Strong background in roadway lighting, public realm lighting, landscape lighting, and exterior illumination systems.
• Proven experience working on large infrastructure and urban development projects.
• Consultancy or multidisciplinary engineering environment experience preferred.
• Proficiency in lighting design tools such as Dialux, Relux, AutoCAD, or equivalent software.
• Strong understanding of lighting standards, technical documentation, and coordination requirements.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and technical reporting skills.
• Availability to join immediately or within a short notice period.

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to all lighting engineering deliverables across infrastructure project stages.
• Develop and review lighting layouts, calculations, specifications, and technical reports.
• Support the design of roadway, street, public realm, and urban lighting infrastructure systems.
• Coordinate effectively with LV electrical, utilities, and multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Participate in design reviews, quality assurance checks, and technical problem-solving activities.
• Ensure lighting systems are properly integrated with other infrastructure and utility networks.
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and CAD teams.
