Linux Engineer
Alpharetta, GA 3 days onsite 2 days remote
At least a 12 month contract NOT contract to hire

Manager's call notes:
  • People are saying they have extensive experience but aren't listing it as tasks and projects in the resume. It can't just list this on the resume, they must explain it
  • Bachelors preferred, financial services is preferred
  • 2-3 interviews
  • Linux Engineer - redhat, experience with storage (managing storage devices, netapp, hitachi, pure, etc.)FS, Fiberchannel, iSCSI/FC
  • Create cases with redhat
  • Security - NIST, firewalling
  • VMware experience
  • Bash, Python, Ansible scripting
  • Responsible for patching server updates every other month (a few hours on a tuesday night) and around 4 hours Saturday morning, periodic after hour work (come in later, leave early, some OT)
  • Oracle databases
