Overview

GovCIO is currently hiring for an experienced Linux System Administrator with an active Secret clearance to join an Operations team. This position will be located in Arlington, VA, and will be a fully remote position within the United States.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will work with other members to mitigate vulnerabilities on Linux-based systems, implement STIGs, address POAMs, and mitigate Zero-Day vulnerabilities. Other standard Linux administration duties will be included in this role.

  • Senior-level RedHat Linux server administration experience, experience with other Linux OS versions desired, such as Ubuntu and CentOSExperience maintaining and administering a RedHat Satellite serverA good understanding of system administration tasks, package management (RPM, Yum) modules building process, and deploymentExperience implementing logging solutionsExperience with vulnerability remediationExperience in creating software/scripts ...
