Job Description
1. Minimum 3–5 years of experience in logistics, shipping, or freight forwarding
Handle end-to-end logistics and shipping processes for import/export projects
Prepare and review shipping documents: Bill of Lading (BL), Packing List (PL), Commercial Invoice (CI)
Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and clearance agents
Follow up on transit shipments and ensure timely clearance and delivery
Understand and apply INCOTERMS and international shipping regulations
Liaise with internal departments (procurement, finance, warehouse) for smooth logistics
Track and report shipments, delays, and clearance updates
Ensure compliance with local and international regulations
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in logistics, shipping, or freight forwarding
Strong knowledge of INCOTERMS, customs processes, and international trade laws
Experience preparing and managing shipping documentation
Excellent organizational and coordination skills
Fluent in English; French is an advantage
Proficiency in Excel and basic ERP/logistics software.
Worked with recognized shipping lines, freight forwarders, or logistics companies
Familiar with African, Middle Eastern, or international clearance and transit procedures
Able to work under pressure and handle multiple international shipments simultaneously
JOB OVERVIEW
We are seeking an experienced Logistics & Shipping Coordinator with a strong background in international logistics, freight forwarding, customs clearance, and shipping documentation. The ideal candidate should be familiar with INCOTERMS, commercial documentation (BL, PL, CI), and international transit procedures, and must have previously worked in well-established logistics or freight forwarding companies.
