Position Title: Senior Manager - Capex & IDM Purchase

Level: L5

Function: Indirect Purchase

Company/Location: Pune

Position Overview:

Capex & Indirect Material (IDM) Purchase resource for Central Indirect Purchase function, preferably with Automotive / engineering purchase background.

Work Experience


KRA’s :

• Timely processing of purchase requisitions in line with Sourcing council guidelines and defined strategies

• Managing multiple category/ cross category requirements for all TML locations 

• Prepare should cost / cost estimates, build new costing template as required 

• Catalogue management, finalization of discount structure, preparation of ARC for standard items, directly from OEMs , participate group level initiatives for aggregation

• Explore cost optimization opportunities scope optimization, alternative source suggestion, VA/VE etc.

• Adherence of vendor evaluation & rationalization process, managing stakeholder in process

• Monitoring vendor payment & retentions periodically, closure of open issues with stakeholder

• Participate & execute Productivity and Process Improvement projects within defined timelines

• Adhere to TCOC guidelines and established audit processes

• Participating in Plant level CSR/Team building exercise

Education/Experience: 

• , MBA (preferred)

• 5-7 years of experience

• Knowledge of Manufacturing processes

• SAP MM Module Exposure

• Experience in Vendor Management
