Base pay range: CA$120,000 - CA$150,000 per year

Overview

The Senior Manager, Construction will oversee all construction and property development within the client portfolio, ensuring timely and cost-effective completion.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage construction projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
• Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and strategies to meet organizational goals.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
• Monitor construction progress and address any issues or delays that may arise.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and quality requirements.
• Manage project budgets and provide regular updates to senior leadership on financial performance.
• Oversee procurement processes and manage vendor relationships effectively.
• Hire, mentor, and guide junior team members, fostering a culture of learning and development.

Qualifications

• Proven expertise in managing construction projects within the ICI space.
• Experience building out an internal construction team from scratch.
• Strong knowledge of construction standards, regulations, and best practices.
• Exceptional organizational and leadership skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Experience in budget management and financial reporting.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Proficiency in relevant project management and construction software tools.
