Senior Manager – Data Centre Passive Connectivity Product Sales (OEM)

Role Overview

We are an OEM of Passive Connectivity solutions for Data Centres and are looking for a senior sales leader to drive direct and channel-led sales of our passive product portfolio across hyperscale, colocation, and enterprise data centre customers. The role will focus on market expansion, key account management, partner ecosystem development, and large-deal closures for OEM-manufactured passive infrastructure solutions.

Key Responsibilities

OEM Sales & Market Expansion

  • Drive sales and revenue growth for OEM-manufactured passive connectivity products in the Data Centre segment
  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for hyperscalers, colocation providers, cloud service providers, and enterprise data centres
  • Build and manage a strong pipeline for large, high-value OEM deals
  • Own end-to-end sales cycles from opportunity identification to commercial closure

Key Account Management (Direct OEM Engagement)

  • Establish and grow strategic relationships with CXOs, Data Centre Heads, and Procurement teams
  • Position the organization as a preferred OEM partner for passive connectivity solutions
  • Develop long-term account plans, revenue forecasts, and growth strategies

Solution & Product-Led Selling

  • Lead consultative selling of OEM passive products aligned to customer architecture and scalability needs
  • Collaborate with presales, R&D, and product teams to offer customized and compliant solutions
  • Participate in technical discussions covering structured cabling, fiber connectivity, racks, containment, and high-density solutions

Channel, SI & Partner Ecosystem

  • Build and manage System Integrators, EPC players, consultants, and channel partners for OEM product deployment
  • Enable partners with product training, certifications, and joint business plans
  • Drive partner-led opportunities while maintaining OEM pricing and margin discipline

Bid Management & Commercial Ownership

  • Lead RFPs, RFQs, technical submissions, and commercial negotiations
  • Work closely with internal teams on pricing, costing, margins, and contract finalization
  • Ensure alignment with OEM manufacturing, supply chain, and delivery timelines

Market Intelligence & OEM Strategy

  • Track Data Centre market trends, competitor OEMs, and emerging technologies
  • Provide inputs for new product development, localization, and capacity planning
  • Support leadership with market insights, forecasts, and strategic recommendations

OEM Product Portfolio (Mandatory Experience)

  • Structured Cabling Systems (Copper & Fiber)
  • Optical Fiber Cables, MPO/MTP Solutions
  • Patch Panels, Connectivity Hardware & Accessories
  • Data Centre Racks, Cabinets & Containment
  • End-to-End Passive Infrastructure Solutions

Desired Candidate Profile

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Technology
  • MBA (Sales / Marketing) preferred

Experience & Skills

  • 10–18 years of experience in OEM sales of passive connectivity / data centre infrastructure products
  • Strong understanding of OEM manufacturing, product positioning, and competitive differentiation
  • Established relationships with hyperscalers, colocation providers, consultants, and SIs
  • Proven success in large deal closures and long sales cycles
  • Strong commercial acumen, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Willingness to travel as per business needs
