Senior manager-engineering software asset management (sam)role

Overview
We are seeking a senior leader to own and drive enterprise-wide optimization and governance of engineering software tools. This is a Software Asset Management–led role with accountability for cost optimization, license governance, and commercial outcomes, supported by strong knowledge of engineering tools and workflows.
The role serves as the single point of ownership for the engineering tools portfolio, partnering with Engineering, IT, Procurement, Finance, and Security to deliver measurable savings while enabling engineering productivity.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a global, cross-functional program across Engineering, IT, Procurement, Finance, and Security.
- Own the engineering software tools portfolio, including inventory, usage transparency, and governance.
- Establish a single source of truth covering:
- Tools, vendors, contracts, renewals, and owners
