Inviting applications for the role of Senior Manager - ESG!
Genpact is seeking an experienced sustainability professional to join its ESG practice to build, scale, and grow the sustainability business globally. This role will be instrumental in shaping Genpact's sustainability offerings and delivering impactful client outcomes across multiple sustainability domains.
The ideal candidate will bring strong experience across ESG data management and reporting, decarbonization, and the application of data, digital, and technology solutions to embed sustainability into business operations. The individual should be self-driven, business oriented and an effective communicator with the ability to operate in a fast-evolving environment.
Responsibilities
Ideate, design, and validate new sustainability offerings aligned to target markets and functional domains, in collaboration with internal subject matter experts.
Engage in early-stage client discussions to identify opportunities and shape sustainability solutions.
Structure and deliver integrated sustainability solutions by working across multi-domain experts in areas such as supply chain, procurement, risk & compliance, and data and technology.
Enable and support sales teams with sustainability offerings, client use cases, and clear value propositions.
Develop points of view, thought leadership, and client-facing content on priority sustainability topics.
Lead and manage client engagements across ESG data management, supply chain sustainability, and assurance-related initiatives.
Act as the primary point of contact for day-to-day client management, ensuring high-quality delivery, adherence to timelines, and stakeholder satisfaction.
Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelors/Masters degree is relevant field.
Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
Good understanding of data and technology levers and their role in driving sustainability goals.
Fair Knowledge of carbon accounting and ESG reporting standards like CSRD, GRI, TCFD etc.
Strong drive, work ethic, and initiative including high levels of self-motivation and self-review needed for distributed global team model.
Ability to work in an 'ambiguous', fast-moving, and diverse environment.
Ability to juggle multiple, competing projects at the same time
Ability to work independently and drive client sustainability outcomes.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong presentation and persuasion skills.
Curiosity, commitment to learning and development, and willingness to learn fast.
Ability to build trust with diverse stakeholders and drive alignment.
