Role Overview
The Finance Controller is responsible for end-to-end financial accounting, statutory compliance, internal controls, and audit governance. The role ensures accuracy of financial records, audit readiness, and strong financial discipline as the business scales across B2 B channels and multi-location operations.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Accounting & Close
- Own monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing under Ind AS
- Ensure accuracy of GL, provisions, accruals, reconciliations, and balances
- Manage consolidation and inter-company accounting, where applicable
Controls, Compliance & Audit
- Design, implement, and enforce accounting controls and SOPs
- Lead statutory audit, internal audit, and tax audit processes
- Ensure compliance with Companies Act, GST, Income Tax, and applicable regulations
Inventory & Cost Accounting
- Oversee inventory accounting, valuation, ageing, and write-offs
