In this role, you will be responsible for:Leads the development and implementation of a strategic Canadian government engagement strategy in support of our overall government affairs and advocacy objectives, working closely with various stakeholders across the Bank, particularly in Public Affairs across regional hubs and business lines
Implementation of the plan will include liaising and speaking directly with elected and unelected government officials and other relevant stakeholders and support engagement of senior executives.
Communicates emerging issues or opportunities to internal stakeholders and identifiestimely solutions and policy advice, where applicable. Actively solicits input from colleagues and other internal groups to provide advice, resources and insights to senior executives as they look to achieve their public policy and advocacy objectivesacross Canada.
