Education: BE Civil (desirable MBA or master s with specialization in Geotech)

Position Overview
The Senior Manager Strategy, Growth & Special Projects is responsible for driving the business by identifying growth opportunities and supporting market expansion initiatives across the foundation and geotechnical engineering business. The role requires strategy implementation, market intelligence, commercial analysis and cross-functional leadership to accelerate Keller India s sustainable growth.
Business Development, Growth & Market Expansion
Responsible for securing new orders within the identified geography in line with annual targets
Drive customer additions and expansion of regional client base
Review technical and commercial proposals in collaboration with BD and Engineering teams
Assess organic growth initiatives, partnerships, joint ventures with consultants.
Strategy Implementation & Market Intelligence
Lead the development and execution of medium- and long-term business strategies aligned with Keller s branch objectives.
Support annual strategic planning, budgeting and performance review processes.
Translate business strategy into actionable initiatives at branch level.
Conduct market, competitive analysis and customer segmentation studies.
Track and report key strategic and growth KPIs to Branch Leadership Team.
Commercial and Risk Management
Monitor contractual risks. claims, and opportunities across projects
Support resolution of commercial issues to protect margins, cash flow
Exercise strong control over debtor management, including receivables
Operations Special Project Management
Manage special high end job sites / sites across North & West locations from the Branch Office.
Ensure such projects are delivered in line with approved scope, schedule, quality, cost and safety requirements.
Provide operational leadership to Special Project Execution team.
Identify risks and implement corrective and preventive actions
Cross-Functional Leadership
Work closely with Operations, Sales, Engineering, Finance, HR and Branch leadership teams to drive strategy execution.
Influence senior stakeholders without direct authority to ensure alignment and delivery.
Act as a thought partner to leadership on strategic and commercial decisions.
Innovation & Continuous Improvement
Identify trends in construction methods, sustainability, digitalization and foundation technologies.
Promote innovation and best-practice sharing across regions and business units.
Support initiatives related to sustainability, ESG and operational excellence.
Key Competencies
Sound knowledge of construction, contracts and financial numbers.
Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage and collaborate effectively with both internal teams and external stakeholders.
Strong analytical, reporting and presentation skills.
Willingness to travel extensively.
Key Requirements:
Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction/Project Management, or a related discipline.
15 20 years of experience with significant exposure to general management responsibilities.
Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage and collaborate effectively with both internal teams and external stakeholders.
Willingness and flexibility to travel extensively for client meetings, regional coordination, and site visits.
