Senior Manager - Downstream
Key Responsibilities
Responsible for CGMP and safety norms in Production. Provide support to achieve monthly and annual production targets of SMV. Production planning in co-ordination with SCM and Marketing department. To lead & motivate team of Managers and Executives in order to achieve the set targets. Lead the team and keep the plant and its EHS and Quality systems in ready and upgraded state to meet the customers, regulatory bodies and new business challenges. Detailing of manpower and equipment to ensure timely delivery of products including sourcing as per quality specification and GMP norms, achieving the desired yields ensuring customer service, EHS and regulatory compliance and maintaining standard through put. Ensure standard costs and budget, monitor and control revenue and energy budget, inventory, material utilization, energy consumption and optimum material, machine and labour utilization, Continual improvement of the processes, yield and solvent recoveries adherence overall product cost. Introduction of new products, in coordination with the R&D and Process Engineering Team. Support and guide the production team for introduction of new products and meet the customer / regulatory requirements. Carry out the validation of new products and prepare for the commercial scale production. Ensure product quality by implementing and adhering to global quality standards and regulatory requirements. Investigate and coordinate to close OOT and OOS in defined timelines. Coordinate for capital budget for technical up gradation for GMP and EHS compliance, plant expansion/modification for new and existing products, productivity improvement and upkeep of the facilities. Implement, and adhere to global EHS guidelines, HAZOP study and local statutory requirements and compliance. Improve the processes to maintain environment standards for smooth functioning of the business. Ensure safe processes and plant operations and keep the plants continuously under control to meet the Local Government compliance. Guiding all departmental personnel in the preparation of departmental activity, hazard and risk assessment register, aspect /impact register and reviewing the adequacy. Initiation of corrective and preventive actions against non-conformance. To support the PAS X/MES system in the role of process manager. Qualifications & Experience
Qualification: B Tech (Chemical) / MSc (Chemistry)
Experience: 14 - 16 years
