Senior Manager - Infrastructure

We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager to join QIC’s Infrastructure team where you will play a key role on the CopperString (East) / Eastern Link project - one of the most significant transmission infrastructure developments in Australia.

This role is for an initial 12 month fixed-term contract with potential opportunity to join the next phase of the project and take it to construction over the next 4 years.

The Project

Eastern Link is the first stage of the CopperString project, delivering a new 330 kV transmission line from Reid River near Townsville to Hughenden. Spanning approximately 350 km, the project will unlock large-scale renewable energy generation in North Queensland, improve system reliability, and support regional economic growth. Once complete, Eastern Link will provide significant hosting capacity for renewable projects and connect communities and industry to the National Electricity Market.
