Hiring for Senior Manager / Ass Director - Marketing


Location: Bangalore/Remote

Key Responsibilities and Authorities


Candidate - Marketing will lead external communications and client-facing marketing for the organization’s Biometrics function. The role will be responsible for positioning the organization as a credible, differentiated biometrics partner to pharmaceutical, biotech, and MedTech clients, while enabling business development through high-quality marketing support. Prior experience within a CRO or clinical research environment is strongly preferred.


Job Responsibilities

The responsibilities for the role are as mentioned below:

Marketing Strategy & Positioning

  • Develop and execute external marketing strategies for Biometrics services including Biostatistics, Statistical Programming, Data Management, and any other related offerings.
  • Articulate clear, differentiated value propositions aligned with client needs and market trends.
  • Partner with commercial and delivery leaders to align marketing priorities with business growth objectives.

Client Facing Marketing & Business development support

  • Lead marketing support for RFPs, RFIs, client pitches, and strategic pursuits.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality client-facing materials including capability decks, proposals, case studies, and solution briefs.
  • Support account-based marketing initiatives for priority and strategic clients.
  • Collaborate closely with Business Development and Client Partner teams to improve win rates and market penetration.

Industry presence & thought leadership

  • Plan and execute marketing activities for industry conferences, scientific forums, and client events.
  • Enable senior biometrics leaders to build external visibility through speaking engagements and publications.
  • Monitor competitive positioning and market trends to refine messaging and differentiation.


Digital Marketing & Analytics

  • Oversee digital marketing initiatives including website optimization, content campaigns, and lead generation efforts.
  • Track and analyze marketing performance metrics to assess effectiveness and inform decision-making.
  • Manage relationships with external agencies and vendors as required.

Stakeholder Collaboration & Team Leadership

  • Partner with Biometrics and Commercial teams to ensure accuracy and alignment.
  • Act as a bridge between scientific teams and commercial stakeholders.

Governance & Compliance

  • Ensure all marketing and communication materials comply with regulatory, legal, and confidentiality requirements applicable to CROs.
  • Maintain robust review and approval processes for external-facing content.
  • Uphold ethical marketing standards consistent with clinical research best practices.

Communication & Brand Management

  • Own communication channels (internal & external) including website content, brochures, thought leadership assets, and social media.
  • Ensure consistent, compliant, and scientifically accurate messaging across all external touchpoints.
  • Drive development of thought leadership content such as white papers, blogs, webinars, and conference materials.
  • Manage public relations activities including press releases, awards submissions, and industry visibility


Qualifications & Certifications


Education Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Life Sciences, Business, or a related field.
  • Advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) preferred.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong strategic thinking and execution capability.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with scientific credibility.
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, client-relevant messaging.
  • High executive presence and stakeholder management skills.
  • Results-oriented with strong analytical and project management capabilities.

Experience

  • 12 to 16 years of progressive marketing experience within CROs, clinical research, life sciences, or related services.
  • Demonstrated experience in client-facing marketing, proposal support, and RFP management.
  • Strong understanding of clinical research and biometrics services.
  • Experience working with global clients and cross-functional teams.
