Senior Manager - Litigation

Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior Manager – Litigation to lead and manage Awfis’ litigation portfolio across India. This role will handle complex disputes related to real estate, commercial contracts, employment, and regulatory matters, while working closely with internal teams and external counsels to safeguard the company’s legal and business interests.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and oversee all litigation and dispute matters across courts, tribunals, and regulatory authorities

Handle cases related to real estate leasing, landlord-tenant disputes, commercial contracts, recovery, labor & employment, and compliance

Coordinate with and manage external advocates and law firms; review pleadings, filings, and legal opinions

Develop litigation strategy and provide risk assessment and updates to senior management

Draft, vet, and respond to legal notices, demand notices, and court communications

Support dispute resolution through negotiation, mediation, and settlements

Maintain litigation MIS, trackers, and documentation

Collaborate with business, operations, finance, HR, and asset teams on dispute-related matters
